thai designer, enter projects asia unveils a nature-inspired yoga room for vikasa bangkok’s headquarters. the design brief was to bring endless wellness to the internationally acclaimed yoga brand, using rattan wood to dominates the structure.

yoga has been known as the eastern way of enhancing our body and soul’s inner peace. according to the american psychological association (apa), yoga firmly brings positive benefits to mental health as it increases body awareness, relieves stress, reducing muscle strain, inflammation, sharpens attention, and concentration. and most of all, is the best meditative way of uplifting the inner part of you to embrace calm, spread positivity to the fullest through the center of our nervous system.

further reports that practicing yoga enhance social well being. the peace and calm feeling automatically increase a sense of belonging; make you feel energized at school, workplace, home, or other public space.

this is why adopting the idea of boosting a sense of calm, tranquility, and eternal peace, which comes naturally from the yoga practice, would best fit to incorporate natural material such as rattan. whether to stand as a room installation…
