like in many cities all over the world, dubai as the city of gold has been grounded since the government put it under lockdown measures in april. going outside from home is highly restricted — residents have to have police permission to leave their homes.

even though things have started to become more relaxed after ramadhan, most of the residents are still afraid of going out and still self-isolating to keep them safe. while being at home had so much to do, some have used art to express their feelings to this uncertain, devastating condition, a message, escapism, a hope, and prayer, to keep us thriving under the catastrophic moment.
