towards zero-waste design attempt: design wiser! here are the strategies you must know
promoting healthier earth has never been easy. yet it is a dream worth living.
one must admit the unfortunate phase of environmental destruction is gettin closer to us. that we designers must highlight recent crisis related to product and project designs’ efficiency — not only for aesthetical purposes but long term impacts.
as we race over some facts and data that says a lot about how waste keeps harming our planet, leaving no more space for a liveable future, many attempts can be achieved through appropriate strategies.

yet to understand the crisis is the first thing to start.
indonesia had a huge homework for this. in accordance to sustainable waste indonesia (swi) data, there are at least 65 million tonnes of waste produced each day, 69% ends in landfills or tempat pemrosesan akhir (tpa). furthermore, around 20% of these waste are neglected in the ecosystem, and only 7% are recycled (cnn indonesia, 2018).
