eric and lory, a couple living in hong kong, have redefined what home design most probably look like in the near future. this isn’t only about compact space nor-space utilization. perhaps it could be an eye-opening story that we all can learn from, as the demand to make less and use-less of everything increases; including room and space for living. in exchange, a home design that helps nurture the environment and ensuring its longevity.
here from the couple’s private nest, we can highlight two inspirations as they chose to have one: voice-activated technology and space-saving furniture that successfully converted their smart house into a very accommodated and nicely blended with its surrounding landscape.
the house was far from being fancy by the look. it has shifted away from the term spacious to the conventional modern house we often require for lux living today.
however, its function and minimalist nuance make it perfect for both eric and lory, who often travel for work, their homestay children, and grandmothers that took care of the home and kids while they are away. thus, the…
