“lift was pretty much born in the backyard of our studio and it was an experiment about how can off-the-ground-structure look in a very industrially-connotated-reference — it is about being less romantic in the jungle, and about the more straightforward and practical approach to it.” explained dornier, in continuation of his sustainability story which was captured on the design story’s previous article highlighting the endless communication, negotiation, and learning process in architectural practice.
