rakta studio’s lf house adds in poetic courtyard
amidst the hectic 24/7 work we have in the urban city. home is always the first to heal and recharge our energy. this is why designing a home that genuinely resembles what we need matters very much, despite only aesthetics.
there are many ways to turn the home into an intangible healer. the opted color can always trigger one, second is the application of natural light and air to circulate into the house, while the third adds some features and details that further enhance the house’s inner peace.
in the case of a completed project by rakta studio, lf house, the house was situated in bandung city. a relatively dense environment where privacy is a primary concern. thus, having a private natural healing spot somewhere between spaces is a blessing. a space where feelings of tranquility, calmness, and stress-free are allowed to be freely produced. this is why lf house has many garden and courtyards as its endless retreat. one is in the form of a small and poetic, zen-like garden.
lf this semi-detached house features three separate gardens and courtyards with different kinds of styles. level bedrooms’ privacy from the road also creates beautiful shading through the window for the interior.
