sayulita is one of the most favorable natural escape in mexico a small town along the pacific ocean; with a charming fishing village that make its hidden gem, picturesque beaches. hence, when pelicans villa was built and surrounded by lush vegetation and a private beach, it offers the best mellow ambiance in town. especially within a shared kitchen, a dining room, and an exclusive space of yoga retreat.
as the design derived from african mood, which came from the resort’s previous owner who is originally south african. the project successfully incorporates the eclectic mexican elements, preserving its authentic atmosphere, such as palapa roofs, while pursuing the least environmental impact possible to its surrounding.
