inside the modern and explorable lan villa in new taipei city: project by yuan architects

drawn and inspired by the beauty of xindian district’s beautiful natural scenery, la villa became one of the most favorable homestays in the new taipei city in taiwan, to interact, live, and enrich our deepest soul with the language of nature.

the villa is connected through a minimalist and modern man-made structure, three storeys, spacious and bright, with abundant windows that welcome natural light at all times. each room inside the villa host contemplative space for us human to reflect on the direction and connections with the spaces within our lives.

the building is part of an apartment complex by the hill. its terrain makes the entrance set on the second floor, while the flor that occupants can be seized from the street to the interior at the first horizontal floor. capturing a full-view of the mountain on the back, the occupants can follow the space’s flow through its beautiful wooden stairs that make such a sculptural landmark…
