meet ily-ai, an innovative and unique three-wheeled electric scooter concept by a young japanese designer mikiya kobayashi. the project prototype was a collaboration between kobayashi with a japanese automotive company, aisin seiki, and one of the famous wooden-furniture manufacturers brand karimoku.

the name ily-ai was inspired by the kind of innovative lifestyle that kobayashi tried to provide. the first part of the phrase “ily” is derived from the acronym for “innovative lifestyle for you,” while the second one, “ai” stands for “active and “intelligent.

by design, the scooter has a curvy — undulating compact shape with very smooth and soft edges. topped with a padded leather seat. integrates with a safety sensor to encounter obstacles will be safe to use by all ages, from children to elders with mobility issues.

the design made use of aluminum incorporated with a sloppy wooden touch on the outer casing. it gives a soft, warm, and aesthetic impression that makes it comfortable to use indoor and outdoor. fully electric with some additional…
