we often ask what makes a good learning environment, or how to create the best learning environment for children that able to boost the bond between children with their surrounding environments, including with their parents.

maybe school, classrooms, and student centers today are no longer as obsolete as traditional ones specifically focused on cognitive skills. resulting in a rather formal, rigid, and more engineered environment. today, schools, classrooms, and learning institutions have blessed with a design that supports practical exercise and impactful learning, allowing children to be adaptive and interactive to the ever-changing environment. of course, all can be achieved if the designer can collaborate with the institution to establish a very supportive learning culture.

take an example of a newly established educational center in dnipro, ukraine. located on the first floor of a residential complex in the central part of dnipro, svoya studio architects initially were tasked to design the “hello baby” children’s center as a new additional space for the existing center, which already present with their own identity. in the process, the name and branding were developed anew by alexander sidorenko, according to a new design concept.
