to date, the company had reduced the weight of their packaging to ensure it environmentally light since 1991, with a total reduction of approximately 500 million kg.
with their own recovery and recycling program, nestle had recycled and chose materials that are inherently lowering the impact towards environment by having several indicators such as carbon footprint, water usage, non-renewable energy use, and solid waste generation to their concern.
