domisilium studio sleepy cats sanctuary, a decade of wanderlust

the design story — domisilium studio finally published their first ever book celebrating 10 years in the design world. a decade of design wanderlust retells the stories of domisilium’s best works to date, like gojek office, kosenda hotel, and gormeteria which has been awarded best project in the “leisure” category by kohler bold design award in 2018.

the book isn’t just an ordinary book that reveals the visuals of domisilium projects. instead, it takes you way beyond their astonishing journey over the past 10 years through the unveiling of the behind-the-scenes of each project, their playfulness and familial work ethics, and conversations with collaborators such as eri radjimin (artotel indonesia), eames demetrios (director of eames office), and many more.

the celebration of this book launch was led by the lively duo, santi alaysius and hamphrey tedja, over a fun talk at ruang dua sembilan jakarta. followed by a quick studio tour, the duo had shared some inspiring dialogues about their working environment, personal history starting from the moment when santi and hamphrey met, about establishing domisilium, and how they end up surrounding themselves with 5 adorable cats at the office, creating their very own sanctuary.
