french designer and decorator cristophe gernigon introduces plex’eat, the super multifunctional face shield (or what he called as a protective bubble) that makes dining in the restaurant possible again.

according to yelp, a directory of local business reviews and social networking sites, there were over 26.000 restaurant closures per july 10 2020, where 15,770 of them decided to close due to the unended covid-19 pandemic permanently. as knoema.com data report shows that to opentable’s community, roughly 60.000 restaurants face massive declining in seated-restaurant until august 2020, yet began to recover as in the fourth quarter of the year.

it is by the fact that the virus has impacted most of us. however, restaurants, especially one that offers exclusive dine-in experience, got the hard-hit sector. leaving the chefs, bartenders, waiters, and the owner drown in tears by the shutting door’s sound. this is why waiting for a miracle to wipe away the virus from the earth suddenly is almost impossible. because at the end of the day, all that we need to do is adapt ourselves, the business, and the market to the existing conditions.

we do not have to wait for the “old normal” instead of reshaping the world by conducting the “new normal” across…
