we often hear the word “luxury design” or “luxury living” in readings, journals, televisions, or simply someone’s sayings. but not many of us truly understand what it actually means.

redefining luxury — better lived world

as a too vague term, luxury is often related to an aesthetic, overindulgence, and lifestyle, including prices and extravagant manners. it is simply the idea of incorporating a sense of richness, grandness, or opulence that results in an extravagant appearance — visually appealing to the eye. so when you apply one of those elements or combine them to your lifestyle: be it in home design, wearables, then you may call yourself luxury.

however, the term luxury has somewhat changed over the past decade, so do in all design industry, including interior design and fashion brands. if a real luxury can never be given a specific definition other than prices and glams. but new-age luxury can. one thing for sure, it is no longer determined by appearance and opulence, but more by materials that come naturally and infuse a sense of nature.

in some case, it speaks of rawness and the most real sense of well being. simply, a natural process, and belief that came as a seed inside our soul…
