global designers have reimagined what would help increases socially distancing protocol in the restaurant. one of which uses a common glass divider on the table and uses rocks and more unique elements to encounter. check it out!

using a rock table divider?

meet “the new normal”, a name for conceptual, minimalist, and pastel-colored tableware collection by croatian designer studio boir. the design features a series of steel and stone objects with a lined plexiglass barrier installed in the middle to ensure safe distance while sharing food with friends, families, or loved ones in the restaurant.

the soft and aesthetic design gives out an impression of sterility.

here in the collection, elongated spoons, a traditional prosciutto plate, and a dome-shaped bread basket with a metal divide enhance a whole new dining experience. maybe you can try out sushi or similar sized food served on the steel with the dome-shaped breadbasket.
