Breeze Block is Back in Trend After Fell out of Popularity in Postwar Era
breeze block is a design material that was extensively used in the 50s anywhere around the world. it is often the go to material for properties — houses, hotels, resorts — by the beach.
after the material fell out of popularity at the end of the postwar era, the trend was shut down for over 5 decades. it finally made a comeback after james russel, an australian based architect, won the 2016 houses awards by featuring a lovely minimal house covered in breeze blocks.
