young and talented indian designer ruchika sachdeva, the winner of the 2018 woolmark prize, unveils a note to sustainable fashion brand flagstore design, bodice, by taking cues to light mango hues. the store houses collections of slow-fashion and ethical wearables for women that she established herself in new delhi, india.

nestled in vasant kunj neighborhood, an affluent area in new delhi popularly famous for its palatial farmhouses. the architectural and interior design scheme has blended in natural greeneries surrounding the building; bamboo floor-to-ceiling curtain that wraps the glazing walls, triangular-frame rails, light-hued mango colored wood, and the minimalistic furniture set voices more sustainability addition. making less to perform its best. to support the demand of “slow the pace” in the fashion industry, as the nature-inspired building creates a juxtaposition to the brand’s tagline and countering the fast-driven fashion requires “more, new, and now” culture.
