BIG and Toyota is Preparing Futuristic City near Mt. Fuji!

kawaguchiko, a town located in yamanashi prefecture, is one amongst the most visited region in japan and home to the best touristic spot for mt.fuji-viewing in any season.

even though the town considers traditional, kawaguchi’s highly-dense population triggers the urge of international designers to balancing the town with more architectural spots aims to accompany its breathtaking natural landscape. expected to increase more global visitors to visit the famous japanese landmark.

so we are now leaping to the future! and if any architect were tasked with designing a futuristic-styled project, the name bjarke ingels group (big) is always on everyone’s shortlist.

the danish-born architect has revealed its plan to create a prototype city near mt. fuji, kawaguchi, japan, collaborating with japanese car company toyota.
